Responsibilities
As a part of Green Thumb team from the very beggining I was responsible for design and experience which consist of core gameplay, monetization, progression and reward system, balancing, content planning but also player experience, onboarding design, accessibility, feedback systems and data-drive iterations.
Game decisions are vision driven
At the first stage of development, I established a game vision to guide further design choices.
Green Thumb is a response to the fast-paced world and high-pressure environments where people seek relaxation. It provides a stress-free experience with a wide range of options and freedom of choice.
High-quality game visuals that appeal to casual and aesthetic-focused players.
Stress-free interactions, with challenges designed to be optional and rewarding rather than punitive, giving players a sense of empowerment as creators while fostering ownership and pride in their gardens.
Deep customization options to keep players engaged, with new content regularly added to extend gameplay.
A vibrant global gardening community that offers opportunities for sharing, learning, and finding inspiration among fellow enthusiasts.
Game Design Challange
The biggest challenge I faced as a Game Designer was creating entirely new features that are unprecedented in the gaming world, with no existing benchmarks familiar to users.
I learnt design is an iterative process, focused on testing solutions and refining them to find the best possible design.
